How PawGlance handles information
Updated October 30, 2026
These pages describe the current service.
Information used by the service
Account details can include your email address, display name, password hash, and sign-in sessions. Pet information includes details you choose to enter, photos you upload, and generated reports. Support tickets contain the messages you send.
We retain order and subscription records when paid features are used. Payment card details are handled by the checkout provider; do not put card details in a photo or support ticket.
Why it is used
This information supports account access, the features you request, report history, billing records, security, and support. Your uploaded photos are associated with the relevant session or account and protected by access checks.
For AI analysis, PawGlance uses Kie's Gemini API to process the images and pet details you submit. An example report does not require live AI processing.
Google Sign-In
When you choose Sign in with Google, PawGlance requests the basic sign-in permissions openid, email, and profile. Google provides your account identifier, email address and verification status, display name, and profile picture when available. We use these to create or match your PawGlance account, authenticate you, display your profile, and associate your pet records and reports with your account. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendars.
We store these profile details, the Google account identifier, and authentication records in our service database hosted on Cloudflare. Depending on what Google returns, authentication records can include OAuth access, ID, or refresh tokens and their expiry information. Access is restricted to the service and authorized operators for account operation, security, and support. These records are retained while needed to operate your account, subject to the deletion and retention details below.
Cloudflare processes stored account data to host the service. When we send account emails, our email provider processes your email address and, where included in the message, your name. If you choose an available paid feature, the checkout provider receives your name and email for payment handling. Pet-photo analysis requests contain the images and pet details you submit; they do not include your Google sign-in tokens.
Service providers
PawGlance runs on Cloudflare infrastructure and uses Resend to send account emails. If a paid feature is available and you choose to use it, the checkout provider processes the payment. These providers' own privacy terms may also apply.
We do not claim that an external AI provider has zero retention or does not use data for training unless its specific terms and account settings have been verified. Avoid uploading sensitive personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies. Browser storage may remember your language choice and an unfinished upload workflow. A browser or account session is needed to access private uploads and reports.
Keeping and deleting information
Information remains available as needed to provide the feature, maintain records, and address misuse or legal requirements. Report access may expire separately from underlying records; an expiry label is not a promise that every related record has been erased.
You can manage pet profiles and reports in Account. Account deletion removes access and anonymizes or deletes associated information, while some transaction or required operational records may be retained. Submit a support ticket for a data request.
Google access and account deletion
You can review or remove the Google sign-in connection from your Google Account’s third-party connections. Removing that connection does not itself delete your PawGlance account or saved data, and it does not necessarily end an existing PawGlance session. Sign out of PawGlance if you also want to end the current session.
To delete your PawGlance account, sign in to Account, choose Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm. You may first need to cancel automatic renewal in Billing. Completed account deletion removes stored sign-in account and session records and anonymizes the account profile. Some transaction and operational records may be retained as described above; this is not a promise of immediate erasure of every backup or external provider copy. Your Google Account itself is not deleted.
For privacy or deletion assistance while signed in, open a support ticket. Google’s connection-management instructions explain the separate controls in your Google Account.
Security and contact
Access controls and encrypted connections help protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and sign out on shared devices.
